Welcome to the Central Administration Department the administrative and coordinating arm of the Chereponi District Assembly, responsible for ensuring the efficient implementation of government policies, Assembly decisions, and development programmes within the district. Under the leadership of the District Coordinating Director, the Department provides strategic direction, administrative support, and coordination for all decentralized departments and units of the Assembly.
The Department oversees core functions of the assembly including general administration, human resource management, planning and budgeting coordination, records management, procurement, public relations, and performance monitoring. It also serves as the secretariat to the Assembly and its statutory committees, facilitating effective governance, policy implementation, and stakeholder engagement.
As the hub of institutional coordination, we promote accountability, transparency, and efficient service delivery while fostering collaboration among government agencies, development partners, traditional authorities, and local communities. Through these functions, the Department plays a critical role in advancing local governance and supporting the socio-economic development of the Chereponi District.
